JAMES HENRY BRUNNI DIES AT HOSPITAL
Services were held at the Evangelical church at Smith Creek Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock for James Henry Brunni. Rev. L. A. Ruegesgger gave the prayer and read the scripture lesson. The sermon was by Rev. Grant L. Jordan. Music was by boys of the 4-H club, directed by George W. Taylor, county school commissioner. Burial was at Highland cemetery.
Son of Samuel J. and Mary E. Brunni, he was born March 12, 1918, in Sage township. He died Saturday, April 25, at the U. of M. hospital, Ann Arbor, after a brief illness. He was baptized by Rev. John H. Cornelius April 21, 1918.
He graduated from the Smith Creek school in 1934 and has since worked on the farm with his parents. He was one of the first members of the 4-H club, and very much interested in nature and agriculture. He is survived by his parents, one brother, Eldon, five aunts and five uncles.
