Richard moved from Yonkers to Florida in the late 1950's, and the following year to San Jose California.
Richard had four boys, 3 born in Yonkers, NY, and one born in San Jose Calif.
When Richard became terminally ill with cancer, his son Brad arranged with the VA and had him flown back to Florida, where he wanted to spend his last days. Mary Ann visited him nearly every day, to take him out of the Kensington Manor Nursing Home, Sarasota, FL in his wheelchair. All his kids came to visit him while he was in the nursing home before he passed away.
His wife, Mary Ann Parler passed away on 1/20/20. She is also placed in the cemetery with him forever.
