Frederick G. Coffin died December 6th at 4 a.m. 1969 at his home in Los Angeles, California, after having been released from the hospital. He was under the care of several medical doctors and was attended by his wife, Ursula, an R. N., his daughters, Mary and Elizabeth, who is a Chiropractor, and his sisters-in-law Mrs Anna Dikselis and Miss Rose Tubutis, both of Chicago, Illinois.

Private services were held at the Westwood Memorial Park Mortuary on Wednesday 2 p.m. December 10th, 1969 conducted by Rev. John Glasse of the Crenshaw Church of Religious Science. One of his favorite poems, Thanatopsis by William Bryant, was read by his daughter Mary.

His Wife, two daughters, and his two sisters-in-law accompanied him to Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia where a military Burial December 15th 1969 with full honors as a Naval Commander were held. Masonic Lodge services followed.
