Nancy Eleanor Bergmann was born on July 11, 1939 in Reeve, WI the daughter of Henry & Bernice (Larson) Barthman. She grew up in the Reeve area, attended Meadowbrook School and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1957. She was married to Art Bergmann at the Reeve Evangelical Free Church on August 18, 1962. Together they had 4 children, Todd, James, Larry, & Nettie. Nancy worked at the Bank of Clear Lake for several years before moving to Ann Arbor, MI. After four years there, she returned to the Clear Lake area and handled the bookwork for Bergmann Excavating and Trucking until 1994. Nancy was an active and beloved member of the Reeve Evangelical Free Church serving as church secretary and organist/pianist for many years. She was also involved there with the Children's Ministry and the Ladies Aid for many years. Nancy loved music and had played piano for the church since she was 12 years old. She also was the accompanist for the Missionaires Quartet. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, camping, and bird watching. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Nancy is preceded in death by her infant son, James; parents, Henry & Bernice Barthman;
brother, John Barthman.
