He was a Postal Worker for the U.S. Postal Service; served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-1972, serving in Vietnam; He was a member of the VFW Post 4300, AMVETS Post #21 and American Legion Post #74. He was a lifelong resident of Sebring.
He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Joyce Scott, Winterville, GA; brothers, Glenn E. Eiland, Jacksonville, FL and Harold T. Eiland, Green Cove Springs, FL; nieces, Lawanda J. Payne, Lisa Eiland, Suzzanne Burrell, Tammy Watson and Melanie Eiland.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Pinecrest Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Peer officiating. Cremation arrangements entrusted to:
