The daughter of Reason Mobley Meador and his first wife, Sarah unk. She married Benjamin Franklin Dudney. He was born 1847, Lincoln Co., TN and died May 15, 1902. I'm quite certain that she was not born at Gibtown, TX as the piece below says -- more likely, she was born in Navarro County, TX.
Children: Joseph Earl, and Lenidos "Lee" Mobley Dudney

From both the Roger Mills, OK USGENWEB and Navarro, TX USGENWEB sites:
16 OCT 1851 -19 MAY 1912 Mary Elizabeth Meador was born at Gibtown, Texas, October 16, 1851. She was married to Benjamin F. Dudney September 5, 1872 at Corsicana, Texas, died at her home west of town Sunday, May 19, 1912.

"Smooth the locks of silver hair,
On our mother's brow with tenderest care
Gather the robe in final fold,
Around the form so still and cold,
Lay on her bosom, pure as snow
The fairest, sweetest flowers that grow
Kiss her and leave her our hearts delight;
Her pain is over, she sleeps tonight."

After a long, busy and useful life she died as she had lived -- honored, trusted and loved. She reared her own monument while she lived in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life was completed, if work all done and well done constitutes completion. She was a member of the Christian Church and her life was beautiful from its beginning to its close, and through all the vicissitudes and sorrows that she met on the way, her faith in God never wavered. She was the mother of two children, Joe and Lee. The former was laid to rest in the Cheyenne Cemetery about ten years ago. Her husband also was called home during the same year. Lee, her youngest son, the only survivor of the family, lives on his farm in the Redmoon vicinity. The Star with his many friends wafts to him and his condolents in this sad hour.

The funeral ceremony was conducted by Rev. W.C. Morris, Monday, at the Cheyenne Cemetery where the remains were laid in the silent tomb.

I have recently done considerable research into the parentage of Reason Mobley/Moberly Meador, the father of Mary Meador Dudney. I have a strong belief that Reason is the son of John Vines Meador and his first wife, Mary Brazile/Breazeale (rather than the Obediah that has been reported for a long time).
