Allen F. Miner
Allen Fneuary Miner, Smithsburg Rt. 2, died at the Newton D. Baker Hospital Tuesday noon after an illness of several years, age 74.
He was born in Leitersburg, the son of Jacob and Katherine Wissinger Miner. He was a veteran of World War I.
Mr. Miner had been a farmer and machinist mot of his life. He was a member of the South Mountain Church of God.
Besides his wife, Mabel Shank Miner, he is surived by daughters, Mrs Doris Renner, Boonsboro, and Mrs. Hope Koons, Smithsburg Rt. 2, sons Harold J., Greencastle, and Aubrey F. Miner, Glen Burnie: 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild and nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to the funeral home of A.K. Coffman where services will be held Friday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Gerald Carbaugh and the Rev. Olen Stane officiating; burial in St. Paul Cemetery, Western Pike.
