Nelson (Curt) C. Hennesy, age 72, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday December 16, 2004. He was born on April 27, 1932 in New Orleans, LA to parents Levy and Myrtle (Roy) Hennesy. Curt was a Navy submarine veteran of the Korean War and a retired instructor at the FAA-Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. Curt was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed. Curt was preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Bette Hennesy of the home; son, Jeff Hennesy and wife Tonya of Clarksville, IN; daughters Lisa Russell and husband Charles of Houston, TX and Judy Herrington of Houston, TX; step-daughters Patti Lehman and husband David of Antlers, OK, Paula Ware of Santa Fe, NM, Kim Ware of Denver, CO, and Jill Sharp of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren Sydney and Cooper Hennesy, Amy and Johnny Russell, Alysia and Lee Herrington, Derek Lehman, Brad and Brian Belsheim. Services will be held 2:00PM Monday, Dec 20, at Bill Merritt Funeral Service with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
