Charles Stanton, age 66, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 28, 2012 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
He was a member of Ellejoy Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Lizzie Stanton; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Hatcher Stanton; son and daughter in law, Danny and Mandy Stanton of Seymour; grandson, Austin Stanton; brother, Bruce Stanton of Seymour; sister, Margaret Sutton of Seymour; and several nieces and nephews.
At Charles's request, graveside service and interment will be private, at Ellejoy Cemetery, Rev. Tyson Galyon officiating. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home, Maryville, (865) 982-6041.
