Russell W. Peterson, 66, of 115 Memory Lane, died at 9 p.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital where he was admitted April 29. He had been ill several years.
Mr. Peterson, owner of Hoosier Haven Mobile Home Park, was born at West Point and had been a life resident of the local area. He was a truck driver for Graves Bakery 18 years and later was a Gulf Oil Distributor from 1945 to 1965.
In 1931 he married Irene Klinker who survives. He was a member of the First Christian Church and Eagles Lodge.
Surviving with the widow are one son, J. Edward; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann (Isadore B.) Loepker, both of Lafayette; one brother, Oris of West Lafayette, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary (Herman) Berry of West Lafayette and Mrs. Mildred (Buck) Harless of Lafayette.
