Louise Dorothy Hasenfus was the daughter of German Immigrants George Hasenfus and Marianna (Marion) Fisher. She was born in Wisconsin on December 10 1861 and lived her childhood years in York, Dane, Wisconsin where she met her husband George Alexander Stevens. They were married in Bristol Wisconsin January 1882 and had nine children (Oliver, Herbert, Grace, Marion, Edgar, Roy, Ruth, William, and Walter) while living in Bristol, Wisconsin. The entire family moved to Minnesota in 1905 after George sold his father's family farm and Grist Mill. Louise moved to Seattle circa 1920 where her daughter Marion Arnold was living and raising her family from Thief River Falls, Minnesota. When she passed away in 1947 she left three daughters Marion Arnold Seattle WA, Grace Reveling Little Falls MN, Ruth Scarlett Richmond CA: three sons Roy Lee Stevens Aberdeen WA, Edgar Stevens Vanderhoof BC Canada, Walter Stevens Wenatchee WA: a sister Emma Clapp Riverside CA; two brothers John and Otto Hasenfus Columbus, WI, 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
