Hubert L. Cline, 75, of Everett RD 1, died Sept. 6, 1970 in Bedford County Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 19, 1895 in Burnt Cabins, Pa., a son of the late Lee K. and Myra (Gilliland) Cline. He was married to H. Agnes Hanawalt on December 24, 1921, and she survives along with two children, Hubert L. Cline, Jr., of Mountain Home, Idaho and Harriet Cline of Arlington Heights, Ill., a sister, Mrs. Mabel Gottshalk of Havertown, Pa. Two grand daughters along with one great grandson also survive.
He graduated from Philidelphia College of Pharmacy in 1920 and taught school for 16 years in Huntington and Fayett Counties. He was one of the founders of the Bedford Rural Electric (REA), was active in the Interstate Milk Producers Association, was a veteran of World War l and a member of the World War l Association of Everett. He was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church.
Funeral services Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. At the Conner Funeral Home, Everett, with the Rev. Clarke Redmond officiating. Burial in the Everett Cemetery.
