|Death: ||Jun. 30, 1468|
Eleanor was the daughter of General John Talbot, the Earl of Shrewsbury and his second wife, Margaret de Beauchamp, granddaughter of Sir Richard Talbot and Ankaret le Strange,
Sir Richard Beauchamp and Elizabeth de Berkeley.
Eleanor was married to Sir Thomas Boteler/Butler, the son of Ralph Boteler, Lord Sudeley, in 1449 at the age of 13. Thomas died before March of 1461, when her father-in-law took back the properties she inherited through her marriage.
Eleanor became one of King Edward IV's mistresses, and supposedly had a contract of marriage, dated before Edward's marriage to Elizabeth Woodville, making their children illegal, and the throne entitled to Edward's brother, Richard, who eventually became King Richard III.
