Louis Paul Levesque (known as Paul), age 89, of Sorrento, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 at his home.
He was born September 6, 1922, in Manchester, New Hampshire, the son of Alfred and Stella Levesque. On June 15, 1946, in Manchester, New Hampshire, he was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Hall (Betty), now deceased. They were married 55 years. He is survived by three children, two grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Paul grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire, and graduated from St. Edmond's Catholic High School in 1937. He was a Naval Aviator, Flight Instrument Instructor and an Executive Officer for Squadron VF 801 at Opa Locka Airfield, Opa Locka, Florida in the 1950's. He served in the US Navy from 1942 and retured from the Navy Reserves in 1984 as a Lt. Commander.
After marrying in 1947, the couple moved to Miami, Florida, where Paul worked as a Food Broker and retired from Bonacker & Leigh Food Brokers as Vice President in 1985. They were members of Holy Family Catholic Church in North Miami, Florida.
In the 1980's, the couple retired to Sorrento, Florida. Paul enjoyed playing golf, working on his property and was involved in his church.
Paul will be buried at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, Georgia, next to his wife, Betty, and her parents, George Daniel and Jemima Owen Hall.
