Toots died in her home. Preceded in death by her former husband of 32 years, Ron Murrary and her husband, Thomas Carruth. Survived by 2 daughters: Wendy Fordham(Jon), & Stephanie Murray, & her 5 grandchildren; siblings: Ron Shields & Thelma "Snooks" Berardi. Toots was raised by her mother, Thelma "Grace" Tufts & her father, Clayton Tufts. She will be interred with her father Clayton Tufts at St. Mary's Cemetery, Mar 31, 2012, 10:00 a.m. with a celebration of life party to follow at the home of her daughter, Wendy, in Sacramento at 12:00 noon.
