WOOD SERVICES SET IN POST
W.L. "Dick" Wood, 72, of Post died shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday here in Garza Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. A.C. Hardin of Eastland officiating. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery directed by Mason Funeral Home.
Wood, a native of Hood County, had been a Post resident for 55 years. He was a former manager of Pioneer Natural Gas Co. here, retiring from that post in 1964.
Survivors iclude his wife, Gladys; four sons, W.L. Jr. of Satellite Beach, Fla., Charles and Harry, both of Odessa, and Bobby of 2510 55th St., Lubbock; a daughter Mrs. Mary Justice of 1917 47th st., Lubbock; a brother, E.J. of Fort Worth, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
