Altura, Minn (Special)--Mrs. Hilbert (Frances) Doehling, 52, Altura was killed Sunday October 11, 1981 in an automobile accident in Rawlins, Wyo. She had been in Wyo. visiting a sister, Gladys.
The daughter of Rosslyn and Rose Burns Van Riper, she was born May 8, 1929, in Ettrick, Wis. She and Hilbert Doehling were married Jan 17, 1979, in Winona.
Survivors are: her husband; two son, Ken Johnson, St. Cloud, and Terry Johnson, Willow River; a grandchild; three brothers, Roy and Richard Van Riper, Ettrick, and Ronald Van Riper, Holmen, Wis.; and seven sisters, Mrs. Vilas (Mary) Brenengen, Ettrick, Mrs. Henry (Alice) Newmann, Altura, Mrs. Andrew (Delores) Richards and Mrs. Wayne (Irene) Thompson, Melrose, Wis., Mrs. Duane (Myrtle) Jerome, Pleasant Prairie, Wis., Mrs. Clyde (Gladys) Lancaster, Afton, Wyo., and Mrs. Sharon Taylor, Mindoro, Wis.
Johnson-Schriver Funeral Home, Plainview, is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday in Johnson-Schriver Funeral Home, Plainview.
The Rev. Ramon Olson of Plainview United Methodist Church will officiate, and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Long Prairie.
Pallbearers will be Robert Taylor, Paul Brady, Mark Richards, Scott Newmann, Donald Doehling, and Gary Golish.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 pm Wednesday and until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
