Andrew McClung Myers, 81, of Lexington, died Saturday, November 29, 2008 in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
He was born July 13, 1927 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Rodney Henry Myers and Ethel Falby Myers.
He was a member of the Lexington Baptist Church.
He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from VDOT as a truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Virginia Myers and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
