Carol J. Rogers of Zilwaukee formerly of Kochville Township passed away Sunday, November 30, 2003. Carol Jean Thornton was born January 18, 1927 in Saginaw to Earl George and Thelma Althea (Wagner) Thornton. She married Donald Rogers on April 10, 1947. He predeceased her on June 23, 1992. Mrs. Rogers was of the Christian faith. Surviving are two daughters, Lynn (Michael) Luplow, Gale (Donald) Giles; four grandaughters, Tara (Michael) Martin, Tisa (Timothy) Vetter, Ashley Luplow and Christina Giles; six great-grandchildren, Emilie, Chad, Cole, Makenzi, Logan and Isaac; one brother Curtis (Jean) Thornton, two nieces, Leslie and Kristen and many other loving family....interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens...
