He died of a heart attack at his farm home near Scobey.
He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Farver. He came to Harve, ND in 1908 and in 1910 he moved to Wild Rose, ND. In 1916 he homesteaded in Rock Glen, Saskatchewan, Canada. He came to Scobey in 1920 and worked for the Battleson Co.
He married Bird Borah in Scobey on July 20, 1930. They moved to a farm 3 miles north of Scobey where he lived until his death. He retired from farming in 1963 but continued to make the farm his home.
Survivors include the widow, two sons, Howard Farver and Jerry Farver, both of Scobey; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Legare of Wolf Point and Mrs. Duane Urquhart of Great Falls and two sisters in Denmark.
