The Washington Post reported on Nov. 11, that she died as a result of her injuries from the tornado on Nov. 10, 1926 at the Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C. She was the sister of Edward Bean who was also killed. They were but 2 of 13 kids (and 2 adults) who died that day from the tornado. She was 1 of 7 children of Mr. & Mrs. William Bean. Another child did not attend school that day because of a lack of shoes due in part because they were poor.
