Hemeter "Bud" Harding Sigmon, age 91 years, 4 months, 17 days, of Conover, NC, was a son of the late Walter Lee and Carrie Ethel Sigmon. He was preceded in death by brothers, Harvey Sigmon and Albert Sigmon; sisters, Vernell Sigmon and Alverta Sigmon.
Bud was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran having served during WWII. A member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Claremont, he served on the church council and was a member of the Lutheran Brotherhood. Mr. Sigmon was a retired Chevrolet auto mechanic and enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
Interment in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Conover with Military rites performed by Newton American Legion Post #16.
