KROLL, Helen Inskeep
Barton - Helen Inskeep Kroll, 90, formerly of 19107 Eutaw St., Barton, and most recently of Frostburg Village Nursing Home, Frostburg, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the nursing home.
Born Aug. 26, 1914, in Barton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph O. and Cora Lee (Stephen) Inskeep. Her husband of 62 years, Lloyd E. Kroll Sr., in November of 1999; and three brothers, Vincent Earl, Carl Richard, and J. Cecil Inskeep, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kroll was retired from the Jet Assembly Department of the Celanese Corporation. She was a member of the Barton Presbyterian Church for 70 years. She was a 50 year member and Past Matron of Bethlehem Chapter 14, Order of Eastern Star, Westernport, and a member of the Past Matrons and Patrons Association of Western Maryland, Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Kroll was also a member of the Barton and Lonaconing Senior Citizens Retirement Club, and a Past President of the Barton Club. She was a 1932 graduate of Barton High School.
She leaves behind one son, Lloyd Eldred Kroll Jr. of Barton; three grandchildren, Brenda K. Rice and husband Mark of Barton, Richard B. Kroll and wife Rhonda of Barton, and Gary E. Kroll of Barton; three brothers, Russell S. Inskeep and wife Inda of Winter Park, Fla., Kenneth M. Inskeep and wife Dorothy of Westminster, William B. Inskeep and wife Emily of Bel Air; one sister, Cora Lee Fazenbaker and husband Ellie of Barton; a sister-in-law, Thelma Inskeep of Lonaconing; seven great-grandchildren, Carrie and Brant Rice, Heather Ann, Chadd and Josh Kroll, and Ryan A. and Trevor Kroll; and one great-great-grandson, Tyler Warnick; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Order of Eastern Star will conduct a memorial service at the Boal Chapel on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Boal Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park, Frostburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Barton Presbyterian Church, Barton.
