I just noticed a very good reason why Sintha was named. Isaac Marion's second wife, (married December 16, 1857 in Franklin Co, GA, came with two sons from her previous marriage. However his second wife was CYNTHIA H. JONES MCEVER ADERHOLD. Makes good sense that Carolyn might have named one of her children in honor of her Step-mother.
