Lucinda Goff married Isaac Dickey on November 28, 1865 in Columbus, Madison, Ohio. On the 1850 Census they are farming in Rutland Township, LaSalle, Illinois. By 1860 they are farming in Esmen Township, Livington, Illinois. Esmen Township is part of Pontiac, Illinois. I can account for 6 children: Margaret J. (Harvey H. Hight), James H., Reason (Reese) Moris (Hettie Stevens), John A., Rachel, and Mary Frances.

The funeral of Mrs. Lucinda Dickey, whose death we reported last week, was preached by Rev. O. M. Dunlesy at her home in Esmen Township, Wednesday, May 04 at 11 o'clock. Mother Dickey was known to this community as a patient, God fearing woman and was for years a suffer of cancer from of the bone, which very much disfigured her ?? and causing total blindness over one year ago. She was born in Madison County, Ohio and at the time of her death was 64 years, 9 months and 21 days. Her husband died some years ago and she leaves seven children to mourn her lose, who have the sympathy of her many friends in the hour of her bereavement.
