COUNCE - Thomas Edgar Freeman, 83, died Saturday, April 9, 2005, at the Tishomingo Hospital. He was born in Hardin County, Tenn., to Henry and Ola Story Freeman. He was a retired employee of TVA and a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Center Hill Baptist Church in Counce, Tenn., with the Rev. Keith Driskell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Corinthian Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Tucker Freeman of Counce, Tenn.; one son, Tommy Joe Freeman of Counce, Tenn.; two stepsons, Sammy Parker of Counce and Tracy Carroll of Pickwick, Tenn.; one daughter, Mary Ann Surratt of Selmer, Tenn.; two stepdaughters, Teresa Carroll of Counce, Tenn., and Trena Bradley of Atlanta; two brothers, Clyde Freeman of Jackson, Tenn., and Glen Freeman of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Annie Franks of Savannah, Tenn.; two grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Bill Freeman and Jim Freeman.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Parker, Tracy Carroll, Derrick Bradley, Jacob Carroll, Kelcey Birk, Chris Birk, Ben Carroll and Brandon Campbell.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today.
