CLARK, LESTER -- Man Dies On Engine in Oakdale Yards- Oakdale, May 13. The community of Oakdale was shocked and saddened last Thursday afternoon around 2 O'clock, when a freight train pulled into the yards with the lifeless form of one of its crew. Lester Clark, one time a resident of Oakdale, who had gone on his run that day in his usual health, just on entering the Oakdale yards, he was stricken with a heart attack and died before medical aid could be administered. His father-in-law J.T. Holloway, a conductor on a passenger train followed close on the heels of the freight train carrying Mr. Clark. He was relived here and took charge of the body having it prepared for burial. He leaves his widow, the former Bertha Holloway and six children and many friends. Funeral was at Danville, Saturday.
