STOCKTON, Tooele County--funeral services for Gladys Bowers Aufdemorte, 77, of Stockton, who died in the Payson Hospital after an illness, will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Stockton LDS Ward Chapel.

Mrs. Aufdemorte was a native of Nephi and relative of several Utah and Juab County residents.

She was born June 3, 1898 to Abraham and Christena Sinclair Bowers. She married Frank E. Aufdemorte on Sept. 24, 1924 in Nephi and he died May 7, 1972.

She was a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include three sons and four daughters, Mrs. Arlene Hore, Santaquin; Frank E. Aufdemorte, Rulon Aufdemorte and Mrs. Nando (Margaret) Meli, all of Stockton; Mrs. Maynard (Zelma) Ahlberg and Mrs. John R. (Gladys) Donaldson, both of Tucson, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four brothers and three sisters, Maylon Bowers, Clarence Bowers and Mrs. John (Maude) Robertson, all of Nephi; Mrs. Ruben[sic] (Leone) Mangelson, Levan; Mrs. Joy Johnson, Spanish Fork; Harrison Bowers, Magna, and John Bowers, Las Vegas.

Friends may call at the Tate Mortuary in Tooele Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. or Monday at the ward chapel one hour before services. Burial will be in Tooele City Cemetery.
