G.I. Resident Dies at 79
Antone Gradoville, 79, a retired employee of Fairmont Foods and a former employee of the Union Pacific Railroad, died this morning in a local hospital. HE had been seriously ill the last week.
The family home is at 2523 West First.
Arrangements for the funeral are pending and will be announced later by the Livingston-Sonderman Funeral Home.
Mr. Gradoville is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Gradoville; one daughter, Mrs. Joe Copozio (Capozio) of San Francisco, Calif.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Gradoville Rites Set
Funeral services for Antone Gradoville will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Livingston-Sonderman Funeral Home. Dr. James Chubb, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, will officiate. burial will be in Grand Island Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday evening until 9 o'clock at the funeral home.
Mr. Gradoville of 2523 West First died Tuesday morning in a local hospital. He had been critically ill for the last week.
He was born Jan. 1, 1883, in Pennsylvania to Jacob and Rose Gradoville. In his childhood, the family came to Plattsmouth.
Mr. Gradoville's first work was with the Union Pacific Railroad. He was employed in the maintenance of way department for 30 years. the family came to Grand Island in 1910. when Mr. Gradoville left the service of the railroad, he was employed by Fairmont Foods. He retired from Fairmont's six years ago.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He and Miss Eva Jenkins were married July 3, 1907, at Meadow Gold, Neb.
Mr. Gradoville is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gradoville; their daughter, Mrs. Joe Copozio of San Francisco, Calif.; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Antone Gradoville Rites Held Here
Funeral services for Antone Gradoville, a retired employee of Fairmont Foods Co., were held Friday afternoon in the chapel of the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.
Dr. James Chubb, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, officiated. Donald Lif sang "My God and I" adn "The Lord's Prayer." Mrs. S. T. Eckert was organist.
Pallbearers were Ray Scott, Wesley White, Alvin White, Donald White, Orville White and James Hanon. Burial was in the Grand Island Cemetery.
Present from out of the city were Mrs. Joe Capazio of San Francisco; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Horner, Mrs. James Wallace and Miss Bea Wallace of Kearney; Mr. and Mrs. James Hannon and Orville White of Hastings; Mrs. Nellie Pratt of Greeley and Mrs. Gaylord Travers of Fullerton.
