Acclaimed Soccer Player. Concidered as one one of Sweden´s greatest players through all times. He became Swedish Champion with IFK Göteborg and won several awards during his career, among them Guldbollen (The Golden Ball) 1946. In his time he was one of Sweden´s international team most important players. 1949 he became professional in Italy, playing for AC Milan. There he was to be celebrated for being one of the famous ”Gre-No-Li” line-up (Gunnar Gren, Gunnar Nordahl and Nils Liedholm), and was called ”Il professore” by the fans. 1958 he recieved Silver medal playing for Sweden in the Soccer World Championships.
