Joe Burley Hall, 93, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Monday. He was a World War II veteran and had retired from Wah-Chang.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jane Hall Harris, and his parents, Erby and Lucy Hall.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Alice Morris Hall; 2 sons, Edward (Joni) Hall and Joe (Jan) Hall; Son-in-law, Tony (Joyce) Harris; Daughter-in-law,
Brenda Hall. 10 Grandchildren, Joey (Lissa) Hall, Valerie (Marty) Thomas, Ashley Hall, Mark (Heather) Hall, Jolie (Chris) Guillebeau, Jenica (Billy) Kelley, Tera (Wes) Wages, Jon Hall, Heather (James) Ellett, and Sara Harris; 12 great grandchildren, Zackary, Colby, Tanner, Timothy, Adam, Katie, Skyler, Levi, Sophia, Robby, Lauren, and William.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2pm at the Calvary Baptist Church in Toney. The body will lie in repose an hour before the service. Burial with military honors will follow in Charity Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund.
