An exact grave site for Micajah is not known.
After petition by the citizens for more assistance, the governor ordered a company to scout the country & also to post men at homes for protection. Micajah was listed in Capt. Joseph Davidson's company in 1794. His brother Reuben was included in this group. Research of his land showed that his first home was located in Tazewell County (later Mercer) next to his brother Reuben's land, which is where the other family members were buried.
