Married Hiram Allen (b 1846, OH), son of Jonathan Allen & his wife Sarah "Sallie" Allen Allen
Hiram was a Civil War Veteran

Allen - Jane Allen was born May 12, 1854, in Pennsylvania; died Feb 10, 1912; aged 57 y, 8 m, 28 d.

In the year 1873 she married Hiram Allen who preceded her to the spirit world Nov 10, 1893. To this union 10 children were born, 4 of whom are living.

Besides the children she leaves 5 grandchildren, 1 brother and 3 sisters to mourn her departure.

In Dec 1911, she saw the need of a Savior, was received into the Mennonite Church and from then on she awaited her call to a better land where she would be free from suffering and sorrow.

Jane Allen was born May 12, 1854, in Pennsylvania, died Feb 10, 1912, aged 57 years, 8 months, and 28 days.

In the year 1873, June 6th, she was married to Hiram Allen who preceded her to the spirit world Nov 10, 1903. To this union were born 10 children of which number there are four living, Eliza Rybolt of Lawrence Co, Tenn, John H Allen of Wells Co, Ind, Elmore Grames and Chas Allen of Elkhart county.

She also leaves five grandchildren, one brother, Obediah Shippey and 3 sisters, one of Cadillac, Mich, one of Adams Co, Ind, and one of Prime Bluff, Ark.

On Dec 1911, she saw the need of a Savior and was received into the Mennonite church and from then on she awaited her call to better land. Burial at Olive cemetery, funeral services conducted by D A Yoder.
