She was the wife of the late Richard G. Ross.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late David Kilpatrick and the late Frances McCallion Kilpatrick.
Gaila was a graduate of Conestoga High School, class of 1962.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Malvern Federal Savings Bank for a few years.
She was a member of St. Maximilan Kolbe Church, West Chester.
She loved gardening and shopping.
Gaila is survived by her daughter, Kim A. Chytla of West Chester; son, Rick G. Ross III of West Chester; grandson, Donald D. Doan of West Chester; granddaughter, Sabrina T. Berry-Ross of West Chester; sister, Bonnie Siravo and husband, Harry, of Malvern; and a sister, Sandy Hughes of Malvern.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Liturgy at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 22, at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home Inc., 410 N. Church St., West Chester, with a visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Neighborhood Hospice, Inpatient Unit, 400 E. Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380.
