Ottilia M. Beyersdoerfer, 87, died Friday evening in the Dreyerhouse Nursing Home in Batesville, where she had resided.

Mrs. Beyersdoerfer was born Jan. 1, 1897, in Morris, the daughter of Roman and Johanna Doll Grossman. She was married to Herman Beyersdoerfer Oct. 18, 1941, in the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Morris, and he preceded her in death Feb. 1, 1951.

She is survived by one step-daughter, Mrs. Edward (Virginia) Lehmann, Cincinnati; one brother, Joseph Grossman, Batesville; two sisters: Mrs. Clem (Philomena) Raab, and Mrs. August (Pauline) Eckstein, both of Batesville; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, two nieces and six nephews.

She was preceded in death by one step-son, Herman Beyersdoerfer Jr.; one sister, Mrs. Louis (Mary) Weisenbach; and three brothers: Otto, Alfred and Andrew Grossman.

She was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in Batesville, and the Ladies Society of the Church, and the St. Aloysius Orphans Society of Cincinnati.

The services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Batesville, with the Rev. Bart Pax officiating, and with burial in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville, where a rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m.

Any memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
