Farrell L. Clark, Age 74, died on August 15, 1997 at the Salt Lake Regional Hospital.
He was born on June 22, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George Farrell and Nellie Woodmansee Clark. He Married Maureen Hoare on December 10, 1945 in Luton, England after his discharge from the UA Army Air Corps. They were Divorced in October 1962. He Later Married Ila Mae Hatch and they were divorced in March 1981.
Dad had many hobbies and pursuits in his life, but most notable was his love for the game of chess. He was a former Utah State and Nevada Open Chess Champion. (We will miss you! Kx Nch resigns).
A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 670 So. 1100 East. A vigil service will be held Sunday, 5 p.m. at the Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call from 4-5 p.m. Committal, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th and "T" St. In lieu of flowers, Farrell would have suggested a donation to Our Lady of Lourdes School, 1065 East 700 South, SLC, UT 84102.
