Murder victim. Described as an excentric loner, Kopitske was found shot and stabbed to death in his rural Fremont, Wisconsin home. In January of 2004 a local high school honor student was charged with the murder. The accused killer reportedly bragged to friends that he killed Kopitske just to see if he could get away with it.
