Viola M. Donatella, 81, of Midland, died Monday evening, Feb. 7, 2005, in The Medical Center, Beaver, following an extended illness. Born April 7, 1923, in McKeesport, Pa., a daughter of the late Anthony and Emily Monticovo DiMaggio, she had been a resident of Midland for the past 70 years and was a member of the St. Blaise Parish family, Midland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Victor Donatella, in 1987; two brothers, Guy and Emil DiMaggio, and four sisters, Rose, Angeline, Ellen and Mia Angelina. She is survived by a son, Victor A. Donatella, with whom she resided; two grandchildren, Victor Donatella, Louisville, Ohio, and Leigh Ann Donatella, Austintown, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Eleanor and Irene DiMaggio, both of Midland, and numerous nieces and nephews.
