Had Resided In Exline and Centerville Many Years
James Worley, a long time resident of Appanoose county, passed away early Sunday morning at the home of his son, Lot, on North Sixth street, following an illness covering eighteen month, during which, owing to his advanced age, he continually grew weaker until the end, his condition being critical only a short time before his death. He was 76 years, 5 months and 11 days of age at death.
Mr. Worley was well known in Centerville and at Exline, he having made his home for several years in both places, living in Exline fifteen years. He was preceded in death by his wife, who passed away seven weeks ago. Three children survive: Lot Worley, of this city; John Worley, of Exline; and Mrs. John Abbott, of Exline. There are five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10:00 o'clock from the home of his son, Lot, where he had been making his home since the death of the wife. Services were conductded by Reverend Gans, of Exline, with interment in Oakland cemetery.
