Anna Mary Jones, 90, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012, in Kingsbrook Life Care Center.

She was born on November 1, 1921, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Howard and Clara McGlone.

Anna Mary was a housewife and homemaker who was previously employed by Ashland Dry Goods, C.H. Parsons and Morris Barbour. She was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church and a previous member of First Baptist Church of Cannonsburg.

Anna Mary was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her husband, Earl, in 2007 and a son, Roger, in 1993. She was also preceded by her brothers, Curtis, Leroy and Charles, and her sisters, Pauline Rice and Grace Berry.

Anna Mary was married to Earl for 67 years at his death in 2007 and they had two children, David E. Jones and his wife, Jeanie, of Cannonsburg and Roger H. Jones (deceased) and his wife, Betty, of Ashland. They had three grandchildren, Gina Caines of Lexington, David B. Jones and his wife, Christy, of Lexington and Holly Davis and her husband, Mark, of Lexington. She also had seven great-grandchildren, Mary Caines, Meagan Coffey, Connor and Anna Catherine Davis, Ava Claire Jones and Will and Judd Weaver, all of Lexington. Her special caregiver for many years was her niece, Judy Stewart.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland, by Dr. Ronnie Mayes. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
