Deserie Duchene, aged 67 years, died on Saturday, july 12, at his residence on Fourth Avenue and Third Street South, of anemia. Deceased is an old settler of Rice County and has made his home in this city for a long number of years. He is survived by his wife, four sons, William, George and John of Faribault, and Albert of Deadwood, S. D., and two daughters, Mrs. A. W. Logthe and Miss Anna Duchene. Funeral services were held from the church of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday forenoon at nine o'clock and the interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
