Mrs Martha Jane Blechschmidt, 92, of 818 Weldon Rd, a native Kansan who came here in 1966 to live with a daughter Mrs Martha J Stenquist died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness.

Born in Marysville, Kansas on June 25, 1882, she grew up in Grays Harbor County, Washington where she received her education, moving to California in 1936 from Seattle. She lived in Sacramento for 30 years prior to moving here.

Survivors in addition to Mrs Stenquist are another daughter, Mrs Carl Sherman of Oak Harbor WA, three sons Lawrence of Seattle, Lester of Tacoma, Raymond of South Milwaukee WI, a brother Ralph Hunter of Seattle, a sister Mrs Moak of Olympia, 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several great greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 3 PM in Santa Barbara Cemetery Chapel with Rev William W Helmbold officiating. Private committal will follow. Welch-Ryce in charge.
