CLARISSA BURLEY succumbs at 81 at her residence.
Greenleaf - Mrs. Clarissa Alice Carson Burley, 81 Greenleaf, died at her home early Saturday morning. She was born August 18, 1874, in Iowa and moved with her parents to Nebraska when she was a child.
She was married to Freeman Howard Burley at Norden, Nebraska, February 1, 1892. They moved to Polk County, Nebraska, where they resided until 1896 when they moved to Keyapaha County, Nebraska, here they homesteaded and resided there until 1927 when they moved to Broadus, Montana. They moved to Caldwell in 1934. Mr. Burley died November 10, 1954.
Mrs. Burley is survived by four sons, James Burley, Broadus, Montana; William Burley, Homedale, Idaho; Marvin Burley, Greenleaf, Idaho; and Kenneth Burley, Caldwell, Idaho, four daughters: Belle Egelhoff, Norden, Nebraska; Ruth Tuning, Parma, Idaho; Mabel Brock, Caldwell, Idaho; Florence Wright, Greenleaf; a sister Mrs. Lizzie Hill, Melford, Saskatchewan, Canada, 32 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. The Rev. John Shaw of Wilder will officiate and interment will be at the Greenleaf Cemetery.
