Angelina Carano of Krebs, OK died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at McAlester Regional Health Center at the age of 93. Angie was born March 1, 1919 to Frank and Lena (Mirlisenna) Maisano in Krebs, OK. She married Rickie Carano on September 15, 1946 and had 51 years of marriage until his death in 1997. Angie was a homemaker, member of St. Joseph's Church and the St. Joseph's Altar Society. She is survived by her son, John Paul Carano and wife, Barbara of McAlester; her daughter, Mary Frances Griffith and husband, Richard of McAlester; two grandchildren, Alan Carano of Ft. Worth and Gina Griffith of Oklahoma City; sisters, Mary Cobb of McAlester and Theresa Watson of McAlester; brother, John Maisano of Albuquerque, NM; brother-in-law, Paul Carano and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rickie Carano; her parents, Frank and Lena Maisano; sister, Rose Boyse; brothers, Tony, Joe, Jimmy, Paul, Mike and Dominic Maisano. A Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Chaney's Memorial Chapel, McAlester, OK led by Deacon Bill Anderson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at St. Joseph's Church, Krebs, OK celebrated by Rev. Jim Caldwell and Rev. Peter Phung. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, McAlester, OK. Pallbearers will be George Finamore, Jim Maisano, Michael Maisano, Michael Prichard, Bill Cobb and Lawrence Scarpitti.
