She was born on July 30, 1922, in Pekin, the daughter of Frank and Iola Peoples Allen. She married William Baker on April 15, 1945, in Corning, Ark. and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2005.
Three sons, Douglas Baker (1986), Kevin Baker (2008) and Richard W. Baker (2010) also preceded her in death.
Lorraine has two daughters, Janice (Terry) Flairty and Lorrie (Bill) Jones and two sons, Jerry (Susan) Baker and Robert Westrope. She has 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Lorraine enjoyed reading, cooking and shopping.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Forest City Cemetery. The Rev. Cathy J. Clark will officiate. There will be a visitation from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Maas Funeral Home in Manito.
Memorials may be made the American Legion Post 561 in Manito.
