Surviving are his daughters, Holly (John) Beard and Evelyn (Phil) Watson; sons, Thomas Ira (Jeannie) Fillenwarth II, George Greg Fillenwarth and Thomas H. Fillenwarth II; stepson, Norman (Tara) Lybarger; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Valarie Martin; a sister, Marietta Gates and a grandson, Ryan T. Hill.
He was an Army veteran, serving in Korea from 1958-1964.
