Harriet, probably named for her grandmother, was the third daughter of E. W. and Rebecca Miller Herrington. She never married. After her brother Enoch's wife died, she cared for his four young sons. Harriet moved with Enoch and his sons to Texas and lived most of her later years in that state. She is remembered by the children of William Washington Herrington, so she apparently visited in the home of her older brother when she was in Mississippi. Harriet is said to be buried in the Jarrett Cemetery, Turney, Texas.
