Mabell was the daughter of Clark Jacob Luce of Lexington, Somerset County, Maine and Mae Pauline Hutchins of Augusta, Kennebec County, Maine. Clark and Mae had four children. They were: Maybell Luce was born on 30 November 1888 in Lexington, Somerset County, Maine; Clifford Hutchins Luce was born on 22 November 1890 in Lexington, Somerset County, Maine; Flora Luce was born on 24 July 1892 in Lexington, Somerset County, Maine; LeRoy Clark Luce was born on 05 June 1900 in Lexington, Somerset County, Maine.

Mabell married John A. Abbott on 05 June 1907 in Lexington, Somerset County, Maine. They had four children. They were: Lucille Abbott; Clinton John Abbott was born on 03 April 1908; Clark Abbott was born on 27 February 1910; and Roxie L. Abbott was born on 12 November 1915.

WORCESTER, MASS. - Mabell A. Webb, 101, died Wednesday at a Worcester nursing home.

She was born Nov. 30, 1888, in North New Portland, the daughter of Clark J. and Mae P. (Hutchins) Luce. She attended school in Lexington and North New Portland.
She married John Abbott on June 5, 1907 in Lexington.
He died in 1925.

She married Herbert Webb Nov. 24., 1927, in North New Portland. He died in 1963. She taught grade school in Lexington for two years.

In 1928 she joined the New Century Rebekah Lodge, West New Portland, where she became a Past Noble Grand. She was a Sunday School teacher and superintendent at the North New Portlanad Community Church. She was a member of the Willing Workers Society of the Church. She was a member of the Maine Educational Society, Delta Kappa Gamma.

Two children, Clinton and Rexie, died previously. She moved to Massachusetts in 1981 to make her home with her daughter.
Survivors include: one son, Clark Abbott of New Port Richey, Fla., one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Murphy of Wheelwright, Mass.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Edwards Funeral Home, Salem and Curve Sts., Kingfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the North New Portland Community Church.

Burial is scheduled in the New Portland Cemetery in the spring.
