Betty Ann Tycer, 64, passed away January 20, 2005. She was born December 10, 1940 in Houston, Texas to Walter and Clara Brown. In 1967 Mrs. Tycer married her beloved husband, Dwain. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in the fall of 2000, and survived four and a half years due to the strength of her positive spirit, and the love and support of her family and friends. In her final years, she continued to do all the things she loved best, which included being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was also an avid reader, a dog lover and a active traveler, with recent trips to California, Florida,Chicago and Colorado. Mrs. Tycer is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dwain Tycer; her children, Stephen Tycer and wife Ronniea Tycer, Scott Tycer and wife Annika, and Staci Gwinn and her husband Robert, her grand children, Ellie, Ryan, Gavin and Dylan, and many other loving relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Monday, January 24, 2005 in the chapel of The Settegast-Kopf Co. with the Rev. Dick Elwood officiating. A reception immediately following the memorial service will be held at Aries Restaurant.

Betty is my daughters mother-in-law. She was the sweetest person She battled breast cancer with courage and dignity. Sad that she did not live long enough to see the most precious and beautiful grand babies ever!
Cremated, Ashes given to family or friend.
