Bert was the owner and operator of Edward J. Koehler Roofing Company. In 1992 he retired and sold the company and moved to Palm Coast, Florida from Wyckoff, NJ. He was a deeply spiritual man who was a member of Gideons International since 1952 and taught bible classes for many years. Other memberships included the Christian Business Men, Parkview Baptist Church and the Business Mens Fellowship. He was an avid reader, enjoyed watching ball games and was a private pilot and owned a plane in which he used to travel in to his different speaking engagements. He will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Wilma; daughters, Karol and her husband Bruce Hess of Bridgewater, NJ. Susan and her husband Gerald Cobb of Highland, TX; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
